    FS or FT - 1997 4runner Limited 4wd - Phoenix, AZ

Alright, time to try this again. I am putting up my 4runner for sale and figured I'd give you guys a chance before I put it on CL. I hate to part with it but it has just been sitting in my driveway since I started working out of town, and I know someone out there will get better use out of it...

    Arizona in June

Honestly, this book will be your best bet. It's not bad on amazon, and I am sure you can find it cheaper elsewhere. It sounds like you are trying to stay on the east side of Phoenix? Guide to Arizona Backroads & 4-Wheel-Drive Trails 2nd Edition: Charles A. Wells, Matt Peterson, Shelley...

    3rd gen Aftermarket wheel thread

Might as well add mine even though I stumbled onto this post because I am looking for new wheels. Not sure of the backspacing on these; they came with the truck. The 231mm TBU fits fine in there with no spacers. Not really a fan of the polished aluminum so I am looking for something new, but...

    shopping for skid plate

Yeah the guy that just did the group buy on here has a FB page where you can order them. I think that the front is $250. Not sure though. Search FB for Ryno All Terrain Products LLC or search T4r for skid plate group buy and his name will come up. He is a member. I don't know about Savage...

    Ped's 97 Limited Build Thread

It's been a while since I posted anything. I haven't had much time to work on my truck. I still have a timing belt kit sitting in the garage, and I am waiting on BOSS coilovers from Toytec that have been on back order for what seems like FOREVER!!! Anyhow, we did some wheeling this weekend...

No brake fluid to right fron brake!!!!

We finally got the brakes installed and working, it only took 3 hours of bleeding them. But the front right brake still acts up from time to time, I can feel it grabbing once in a while because the vehicle slows much faster when I let off of the throttle than it otherwise would. I can also...

No brake fluid to right fron brake!!!!

Sorry to let this sit for so long, but what do you meant the rotor isn't drilled tight? I have remaned calipers.

    Tundra brake upgrade question

Yeah, if you have any issue with the caliper fitting, it is against the spokes, not the wall of the rim, so I would just read what the required spacing is, I know the creator of the thread measured it, and stick a tape back there to get a quick measurement. Other than that you should be good...

    Tundra brake upgrade question

I would get on and read the change thread that was posted. I don't think that the 231mm calipers will fit with the stock rims. I did this upgrade and love it but I didn't have stock rims. Also definitely get new rotors. They are cheap. Just my $.02.
