There are 2 areas on the front door panel that stick out and will need space to get the door panel back on. At the top is a point to help align it, and at the bottom on the backside of the cupholder is an area that sticks out a lot. The original vapor barrier had an area indented to make space.

The JL fix82 is new to me too. I just looked up the manual and it appears to only have 2 channels out. If it only has 2 channels, time alignment on the output side could only do a left and a right grouping. The MS-8 will time align 8 channels on the output side. The MS-2 may be a better comparison.
