Out on the west side, I've been very happy with Royal Auto in Hillsboro ( Home ) - been taking my Toyotas there for 17 years now...

Another Portlander here: my stock 2016 TEP w/ stock tires had no problems going anywhere in town these last several weeks. While I'm sure more snow-focused tires would have been even better, the stock ones aren't too shabby - at least in our mixed snow / ice conditions. AWD would be nice...

A lift with no tire change would still improve your breakover angle. I scrape my gas tank skid occasionally; a lift would fix that.

Yep, there's a hole to drill on the passenger side in one of the cross members. There's an optional hole to drill on the other side, as well. I haven't drilled either yet - and probably won't drill the optional one.

No kidding! I was happy to have read the advice here and picked up some longer ones before I put mine on.... Just took a leisurely Sunday drive with the kids:
