I'm trying to find some running boards for my 2012 TE as well. I've been reading through different threads that they recommend the deezee NSX (not sure if that's the right name). They come in 3 different/color trims, i'm still doing research to what fit's best.
running boards vs. sliders vs...
Yeah sometimes i forget to check the thread, Also I wanted to get these when I bought the car 1 year ago. But now that snowboarding season's over I went from running board and snowboard rack to running board and now a bike rack. Let's see if I actually pick any of these up lol.
Thanks I'll take a look into the site or a store if it's close and go from there. Appreciate your input! For my truck i like the running board and I don't believe I'll be driving in the extreme for rock sliders.
Do you know the price? I'm more interested in the running boards such as yours as I don't see myself driving over rocks. I'd probably use my car more for camping and snowboarding.
Searching through the forums I saw recommendations for Yakima Fatcat 6 and Powderhounds. Any advice between the two or other recommendations, below is a list of specs that might help in what you can recommend for my car:
2012 Trail Edition
Stock Roof rack
Have a garage but no heigh restriction...
Thanks guys I'll have to do some research and see which fits me best. Won't be doing to much off roading but all sound like pretty legit sites, thanks. and I'll post which one I end up choosing and how it goes, thanks.
So I bought a new 4Runner TE 2012. My dealer handed the keys and recommended me not to drive over 75MPH for 500 miles. Its been a while since I bought a new car, last time I was told it was 65MPH for 1000 miles. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I'm a proud new owner for a 2012 4Runner Trail Edition, it didn't come with running board so can anyone recommend a site, person, or shop that installs? I live in the SoCal area, thanks.
Is it me or does the flicker photo look different then the car and driver photos. It seems like the flicker photo gives the new 4runner a slimmer design and the car and driver photos give a wider look to the new 4 runner. The front bumpers to exactly match, i could be wrong though.
