Thanks for the info. I guess I'm wondering why the heck anyone would put them on the outside, and/or why would one have to ask to have them put on the inside? This is something I've always wondered, and was a frustration in the past when I forgot to bring it up while getting new tires. :p

This is a little off topic but the pictures reminded me of something. Why is it that when tires are replaced and balancing is done, that the weights are put on the outside of the rim? Why can't they be done on the inside or in a less visible area like when it's done from the factory?
