Dude. It is worth it to get the extra coverage. I have like 3 chips in my 4runner and 2 in my accord. There is no way around it and I guarantee it will happen to you again. I wait until a huge annoying crack occurs then get the whole thing replaced. Most of the small ones just get patched...

How much power are you supplying the Alpine. I have the Stealthbox too and went through a swap out the Sub phase but never acted on it. Is the mounting depth an issue? I was thinking about swapping it out with a 10W3. Was the improvement that much greater?

I bought it new in 01...still a bad deal? I'd hope you paid less for an SE vs a LTD..

I bought mine from Kay Jennings in Springfield and I must have gotten lucky. My salesman looked to be about 20. I got my 01 LTD for 35 even.. bottom line... inlcuding taxes title, etc. All told, I was pretty happy with the process.

Linhsy, the man will pull you over if he sees one in your car. They are still illegal in VA if I'm not mistaken. I got a ticket for having one driving up I-81 near Harrisonburg.

Phoenix has the absolute worst drivers I've seen. I can handle the agressiveness of the east coast, but phoenix is full of people who don't pay attention and that is much more dangerous IMO. At least the agressive drivers are paying attention when they weave. Here you need to count to 2 or 3...

Nope. The XM unit will be a small sized box you'll need to hide somewhere in the dash or under a seat, or in the trunk etc. The only thing visible will be your separate XM antenna.

Mine didn't come with anything in that rear compartment. Just some tie-downs for your stuff.
