I have the plug it'sfine but I some of the hole (casting ) about 3/4 is broke off on the transmission. Can i weld a threaded sleeve onto the transmissoon case?

I got the Axle in on one of my days off took a few hous but i got it done with the help of my brother. The G294 rides great! Now on to other little things.:guitar3:

I bought the whole axle. Near as I can tell the only things that were wrong with it was that the dust covers were bent a bit but i bent them back to clear the brake drums from rubbing on them. other than that I doneed new brake shoes and a couple lug studs but that will be easy...
