I've just noticed mine making a loud pulsating vibration for 5-15 seconds after start up. I never heard it before in my 5 years of ownership until just this winter. Could it but mine is going bad and needs replaced? Read in another thread it's not a cheap part...~$3k

Mine does the same in extreme cold, the screen just needs to warm up for a few seconds that's all. I wouldn't worry about it

I would expect to pay an hour's labor per corner so approximately ~$400 which I would say is a fair deal

When I did my rears with the Daystar and fj spring I had a buddy helping push down the hub while the opposite side was jacked up and I still BARELY got them in with the springs being compressed. I have no idea how you guys do it without compressing the rears lol

Fwiw I have a cheap set of spring compressors I bought from Sears many years ago. I had absolutely no problem compressing the springs far enough to assemble the coilover before installing. It's safe and easy if it's used properly

You will need atleast a new tophat assembly(~$30), possibly new shock if the stem is damaged from the rubbing also. Good news is it's not an expensive repair

All you need to do is pull the fender liners forward with some zip ties. Don't worry about cutting anything

Ah ok my mistake, I forgot they were 4runners and not Lamborghinis. 4runner owners go ahead and drill holes in your bumpers it won't devalue your vehicle at all, but please don't do it to your Lamborghini!

It bothers me that the bar on the front bumper doesn't follow the lines of the grill better...other than that they look nice

I don't think you need a nut, it should be built into the shock already. Your shock was pushing through the bushings because you didn't have the lower washer on to stop it. You had both washers above the tophats. Take it out, assemble it like the picture on the last two pages shows and...

You need to take the whole assembly back out, that smaller washer goes on the shock first, then a rubber bushing and tophst, then the rubber bushing in your pic and finally the larger washer on top

Check the law for yourself first but I am pretty sure MD has changed the law now that you don't have to use a front plate if the vehicle doesn't have a plate bracket. Meaning you don't need to drill through your bumper and devalue your vehicle Like I said double check yourself first though

someone please school on me on this zpc thing. this must be done by the dealer with special computer? how much does this generally cost? this is my first time hearing about this.
