Does anyone here know a source for 1st gen 4runner windshield glass? I can find nothing local and am getting frustrated and nervous as my glass cracking is getting worse…..

I had safelite tell me new glass is not available for my 87. Did you have difficulty getting your glass?

Yeah, New York 4runner owner here too. The roads today looked like a forest fire was up ahead there was so much salt dust flying around. Not good for any car….

Can anyone help?? My 87 windshield glass is cracking and I can find NO one locally, big or small auto glass shops, that can find me the replacement. Any leads out there on where to look?

My 87 with Jasper motor has required some parts recently... some stuff like windshield wiper pump, pcv valve, radiator, various hoses and belts, all easily available and findable online or local. Other stuff like rear window glass, rear window switch, bumper and trim pieces... these things...
