    Prado steep hill climb

Here are 2 other pictures that give more perspective of the rock. Not nearly as steep as it looked. From this angle, I could attempt to do the climb, but based on the OP's video, I would never even try it. Photos courtesy of www.vaalotters.co.va .

    Prado steep hill climb

Here is a video of the same rock from a different angle. Notice the small white rock in the middle and the graffities on the right side. You can see both these on the OP's video too, so this is likely the same rock. The climb doesn't look as bad on this video. Kunst - Moegatle 4x4 - Nissan -...

    Prado steep hill climb

There is a small patch of wild yellow grass visible from 16 seconds to 18 seconds. Grass usually grows vertically, even when on an incline, but on the video, it's not vertical. This is a hint that maybe the camera angle was a little exagerated by tilting the lens.

whats your opinion on these tires?

It's fairly tough to break the bead of the old tire yourself, then unmount it and reinstall the new one, but more importantly, I don't think you can balance the tires yourself. Balancing is a must.

whats your opinion on these tires?

Caution: the 265/70 R17 GRABBER AT2 comes in 2 flavors. -the 121/118Q Load range E with a 99 mph speed rating. -the 115S with a 112 mph speed rating and "not rated for severe snow". The 2 versions are quite different. The load range E will feel much stiffer and is an 80 PSI max cold...

How often do you change your 07 2WD T4R’s spark plugs or 4th generation’s

With the OEM plugs, you're good to 100K miles on the V8.

    Cold start engine noise

No unusual noises on cold starts. I have a 2008 V8 with 30K miles and live in Alaska, so it's plenty cold here...

    I also have a rare V8: I can do 450+ miles on a tank with a 2008.

    Spare Tire Winch

What if you take a hammer and pound the rod in? Might get stuck trying to pull it back out though... Otherwise, if you need to remove the spare, you might have to cut the retaining cable (the one that holds your spare), just like thiefs do. Then replace with a new cable. This might be a cheap...

    Spare Tire Winch

Looks like you just discovered an antique contraption dating back to the Bronze Age. Neat camera device you have for the pic. Joking aside, it seems as if some rust inside the square hole prevents you from pushing the rod totally in.

    Calling all Alaskan’s (technical)

Josh, I have lived in Fairbanks for several years and winters are brutal: it can get down to 40F below. You will need to "winterize" your truck as you mention. This involves installing the following: -engine oil pan warmer -battery warmer -transmission oil warmer It costs about $250 for parts...

Post 2010/11 Winter (Snow) Pic`s Here.

4H is the default setting. Do you mean you switched to 4L?

    Lost Power today !!!

1/4 tank should still be plenty to function properly over a bump. I don't think that's the culprit, and your engine did not shut off.

    4R Fails to Start

Like some people have mentioned here, and even though you have already retightened the gas cap with no changes, it could still be the gas cap. I'll tell you what happened to me 2 years ago (2008 4Runner V8), so read further: I was leaving my garage and driving (in Alaska) at 50 F below zero for...

When to replace shocks on an 04'?

Yes, very possible that I will hate the Dunlops after a few thousand miles. With all the negative feedback, I was expecting to hate them right off the bat but so far so good.
