    The only way Toyota could justify a massive price increase is if they pair it with a massive feature set and performance increase, in which case they would be knowingly shifting their target market.

    I've heard rumors/speculation that the Gen 6 4Runner will be tasked with (partially) filling the shoes of the now-defunct North American Land Cruiser. Is there any merit to this?

    I thought it was widely believed that the 'Runner will come before the Taco as the Gen 5 'Runner design dates all the way back to 2009. I may be wrong, however.

    I feel like the competition is all moving toward increased efficiency with a simultaneous increase in performance, and that Toyota shall be no different.

    I'm waiting for '23 or '24. It'll be my first 4R. In a Taco now. Excited for 6th Gen!
