    Dash replacement worth it?

Time to revive this thread. To answer your question, yes, the 2006 dash fits in the 2003-2005 models but with a a caveat. I have a 2004 V8 and the dashboard was pretty badly cracked, so I started to search for a suitable replacement which was not easy in my area. Anyway, found a 2006 dash in...

ISO a good specialty 4Runner shop or mechanic in Atlanta

Hello all, I’m looking for a reliable, trustworthy 4Runner/Land Cruiser (or Toyota in general) shop in or around Atlanta. Ideally somewhere in the north part of town but I would be happy to find a good mechanic/shop anywhere in town. I live in Marietta. Any pointers and/or recommendations are...

    02 Sensor Change, Bank 1, Sensor 1

Hello all, I got kinda stuck with my Bank 1 Sensor 1 problem. So, I got the P0031 error code check engine light with the other two lights. Ordered the Denso sensor, replaced it, worked fine for about 15miles or so, then the lights came on again with the same error code. Drove the car like...

Diagnosing Cat vs. O2 sensors and replacement - 300K miles

    2005 T4R v6 engine knock | Engine Rebuild

The damage is fixable in my humble opinion. The crankshaft can be definitely fixed...re-grinding and polishing can be done by a specialty shop and oversized crank shaft bearings can be used.

Satoshi grille mod done, finally. Fitting the mesh was a royal PITA even though it was pre-cut and pre-bent. I'm very satisfied with the outcome.

It's fairly easy to work with Plio Grip. Flows very well but dries quickly so get a few extra mixing tubes. Sanding is OK, takes a bit of time but not bad. Lots of dust, though. I used a mask when I was sanding. If you have all the parts the whole thing can be done, ready to paint, in one easy...
