Are you in Kentucky? I thought I saw the same 4runner in craigslist a little while back.

My 5 speed is the same way. Gotta stick it in 2nd and "up and over" to REV. I don't get it either. I think I may have noticed it's easier to put in REV if I take the parking brake off first? Maybe?

I have a 90 4runner, bought it a month ago. Prev (original) owner kept meticulous records. I believe I saw that my head gaskets were replaced some 15 years ago. Is this problem solved?

Oil looks normal. No indication of coolant present. Started fine a number of times in a row. No white smoke upon cold start. Mileage is confirmed to be true. Power windows, rear windows all work. Back seat windows roll halfway down and come to a crawl, but continue to go down. What to do...

In the process of buying a 1990 T4R 3.0 5spd. 4wd, 4dr, red with moderate rust. 125k miles. As far as I can tell, all things are working except sunroof. Haven't bought yet, would like to know what other things to look for other than the obvious? Have all maintenance records and such. Former BMW...
