if you buy quality parts that are known to be compatible (more than a few good threads on here somewhere on the topic of suspensions systems and parts) im sure you wont have any major issues as long as you don't scrimp on something important just to buy another major part when...
we just bought ours certified preowned and i went for the two year maintenance as well. im still a bit conflicted on the decision but i want the best for my new baby ;-)
