I got my new mirror installed this morning. The 99+ heated mirror plug was not plug and play in my '98. The newer mirrors come with a 6 pin plug while my older mirror uses a 3 pin plug. Luckily the needed wires were the same colors on both mirrors, brown+black+red. A quick cut and solder got...

I don't really care about the heater being functional, just wondering if the heated mirror had the same style plug or if it would be a solder job. I'm having trouble locating a non-heater paint match sideview.

Someone side swiped my driver side mirror and I'm now looking for a replacement. I've found one that matches my year and color, but it is heated. Will this work for a non-heated mirror 4runner?

Any news on whether the new 7th injector works with the new SC?

Lower boost would be better on the engine internals and provide more longevity compared to the old style SC in theory, yes? I'd like to know if it's quieter than the old style.

10 and 11 don't look like they'd be too bad with generic hose. 12 looks like a PITA to replace.

Well crap. I'll have to send them back and re-order, I haven't gotten around to even opening up the package yet as life has gotten hectic. I'll update the part number above though so I don't mess anyone else up.

Yeah, phase two after I do a lot of maintenance work is going to be getting gauges setup for AFR, EGT, tranny temp, water and oil temp, etc. The end game is to eventually install a SC but I want to have everything else done first.
