Ive had the Accessorides remote start on my 4Runner for months now, havent had any issues at all, i would also definitely recommend it.

I dont think there is a plug and play kit available for the 4th gens :( And im pretty sure that link you supplied is just universal parts. I would contact Accessorides, they are a vendor on this forum that make remote start kits, they might have something.

I stuffed mine up above the BCM, and the clicking sound is just the relays in the module shutting down, i never noticed it until you guys mentioned that lol, normally my radio is on so i dont hear it

Hey dont forget that Accessorides is a vendor on this forum and they offer the only full plug and play system for the G Key models, meaning NO wire splicing at all and the truck stays running once the door is opened. Havent had any issues with mine. :surfer:
