I have 07 4runner. I wanted to know if steering column assembly (intermediate shaft, sliding yoke ,intermediate sub assembly etc) is part of power train warranty...the text in the warranty booklet does not describe clearly. thanks

it is toyota powertrain warranty which is 60k miles or 5 years.so you think that leaking CV boot should be covered under warranty?

I was just going through powertrain warranty details for 2007 4runner it says for front wheel drive system the parts covered are final drive housing and all internal parts,axle shafts,drive shafts,CV joints, front hub,bearings,seals and gaskets.. now my 4runner is still under powertrain...

Thanks i called them again and customer service ppl were not sure again that differential is part of powertrain they said they will go with what ever dealership said...they asked me to get 2nd opinion man toyota sucks.. thats why there are so many issue..whats the job of customer service when...

I called toyota customer service about the issue. The lady on the other end surprised me by saying that rear differential does not come under power train warranty..Is it true? i was reading manual and about power train it does not mention rear differential it says like that Engine...

just an update i went again to the same dealer and told them that after changing differential oil sound is still there.. They checked again for free..they had their master technician this time..he drove with me and he said this sound is normal and you should not be worried at all if there is a...

Does any one know the part # for front brake pad shims for 07 4runner.?

I am trying to figure out if my 4runner is still under 5 years from the date it was delivered to the 1st owner. I have tried toyota owners where it does not show when the vehicle was delivered to the 1st owner...does any one know any other way...obviously i can call toyota but its closed on sunday
