    cheap sub upgrade I used a Kicker - CompVR Series 8" Dual-Voice-Coil 2-Ohm Subwoofer From Bestbuy.com...they didnt sell them in stores, online only.....paid $100

    cheap upgrade its sounds better..... ive had a lot of systems in different cars....the stock amp isnt quite powerfull enough to really get the sub going but it deffinately sounds better (not just me but other 4th gen 4runner oweners told me the same thing) I do hear more rattle now, i think...

    $cheap way to upgrade sub I spent $100 on this sub from bestbuy.com and just hooked it up with the stock amp...just had to make a spacer and cut the plastic in the back a little to fit the new sub......it was definately worth it..... here are some pics...

    I have a blown factory sub now and just want to drop in a new 2-ohm dual coil voice sub so I dont have to wire a new amp just grind some of the plastic fins to achieve more mounting depth.....this Kicker sub is 4-1/4" mounting depth..... that can be achieved without a spacer and just by grinding...
