sunroof? Mine used to leak through the sunroof. The plastic piece that surrounds the glass had a (factory) seam in the middle front, and it dripped through there. i basically did the same thing and apply some sort of sealant, even superglue works, over the seam. The dripping stopped.

the closest thing that happened to me was a dead rat/mouse in the aircon fan. That stunk thinds up for a couple days, since it happened on a caping trip with 100 degree heat. but a relatively easy solution once back home. Pound
