    Market for Running Boards?

I removed the running boards from my ‘02 Sport Edition (Sunfire Red Pearl). They’re in excellent condition, especially compared to what I’ve seen for sale. It would be expensive to ship them. I’m just wondering if there’s a market for them. I won’t be putting them back on. I have all of the...

    Cat delete: 02 sensor override?

URD O2 Simulator Hey Ripcord! I know this is an old post, but do you know if URD still offers this product? I have a 2002 and my cat has gone bad. I used to be able to turn off the lights, but not any more. I’m not looking for performance gains, just trying to avoid the cost of a new cat. Any...

    What tires do y’all use?

Personally, I think anything with sidewall traction looks better than not. BF Goodrich KO’s are my favorite. Look great, great traction, tough as nails and long lasting. Never, ever put the white lettering out! IMHO

    Vibration after installing front spacers

Ok, here’s where I’m at in this miserable experience. I installed the ECGS bushing (tore the boot on the LBJ in the process). The install went well, but it didn’t change the vibration. I don’t regret this install, it was needed. My CV axle is rock solid in the diff now. I had the wheels...

Vibration through steering and gas pedal

EO - The passenger side (your driver side) uses a ball bearing support for the axle shaft which provides more support and doesn’t wear as easily. Hence the bushing is only available for the needle bearing side. A diff drop may eliminate the vibration, but it doesn’t address the real issue, the...

Vibration through steering and gas pedal

I agree with MTBTIM. I just diagnosed this issue in my 4Runner and will be installing it in a few days. Simply get under the front end and grab the CV where it meets the diff on the driver’s side and check the amount of play. I love Timmy, but you need to know something about this video. ECGS...

    highest mileage???

297,000 and they’re all mine! Bought it brand new in August of 2002. Only three things have failed, both rear axle seals and the oil pressure switch. Everything else I’ve done was all maintenance.

    Vibration after installing front spacers

Kanoe - You got it! My cv axle on the driver’s side is moving exactly like the cv axle in Timmy’s video. So, here’s the question: do I install the bushing or remove the spacers? If I remove the spacers, am I simply ignoring a problem that I’ll have to deal with later or did I cause the...

    Vibration after installing front spacers

Crikeymike - All good ideas, but I just had the wheels balanced and rotated. They ran fine until I installed the lift. It wouldn’t be camber, I just had it aligned by a reputable shop that I’ve used before.

    Vibration after installing front spacers

Thank you for the ideas, I really appreciate it. I’m considering a diff drop even though everything I’ve read tells me I’m not lifted enough to need one.

    Vibration after installing front spacers

Ok, I know there are a few threads out there on this topic, however, I have yet to find a definitive answer. I find it troubling that so many of us are experiencing this and no one seems to have an answer, other than to remove the spacers. I called Wheeler’s Off Road to get their opinion and...
