Heres some video I took to show what the problem is So far Ive replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, Battery cables, MAF, ECM, checked for vac leaks, checked tps (but havent replaced), checked timing, pulled codes and nothing... Since its not throwing a check engine light I have no idea...

I have a 90 4Runner v6 3.0 213k on clock auto tranny 4x4. It runs really rich under heavy acceleration, throws black smoke like a diesel! I have these two wires that are un plugged could anyone maybe tell me what theyre for or where they go? Ive looked all around the engine bay and cant find...

Checked the tps and maf everything is with in specs. No vac leaks either. Checked fuel pressure that fine too. Its throwing too much fuel under hard acceleration, but runs perfect if you baby the throttle. Going to swap out ecms this week once I find one. Any other ideas guys?

If I would of known gas sucked that bad I would of kept my 5.0 mustang... Or got a 4cyl Runner

Im having a similar issue with my 4runner, try the tps if you have one and the check the distributor cap rotor and if nothing, then try ecm

From what Ive read on here is go with bj spacers up front and landcruiser coils in the rear. Good for about 2" or so and is the cheapest lift you can get. Most will also say you can ride 33s with minor to no rubbing with enough wheel back spacing. Good Luck

So did anything ever happen with this???

Finally got my truck back from the trans shop reverse works great, but still no OD. Mechanic says its missing the thermostat therefor it doesnt warm up enough for the OD to engage. Im gonna be adding a thermostat see if that solves my issue, otherwise someone isnt getting paid LOL
