Not bad, may have to steal your idea... We usually have 3 or 4 people with us when we go and the other guy has a dog as well so we would put both shorthairs in their kennels leaving 0 room for anything else. I am going to get a rack for the roof but obviously we do not want to put ours guns up...
I like the drawer idea, what's the weight like on it? Looks pretty solid. Love your shorthairs. Since we just purchased our 4Runner have not had a hunting season with it yet. Curious what you do with your guns as far as placement in the vehicle?
I posted a link to my shorthair here.
Awesome! I sorta figured it could handle a little more load than they say. With the extension on the LoadWarrior does the bar prevent you from putting larger trunks up there? A friend and I both have 38" long trunks which I believe fit without the extension but curious what the extension does...
I will have to check out the bars you mentioned, the ability to carry a little extra weight may come in handy I'd rather not be suddenly restricted when I need it. I considered something like a Gobi stealth but I cannot justify the cost since I will only use the rack during bird hunting season...
I was considering getting the LoadWarrior do you guys recommend swapping out factory crossbars or are those sturdy enough to install on? I have a 2012 4Runner and they do not seem all that sturdy for a 150lbs of cargo.
I didn't want to create a new post just for this question, but I recently saw a commercial for the Toyota 4Runner where they were driving a trail version with a roof rack. Anyone know what roof rack they are using in the commercial??

Hey everyone,
I just joined the 4Runner family purchasing a 2012 SR5! The previous owners had weathertech mats in the car but did not put anything in the cargo area. My dogs will require a mat especially when hunting and doing some research I found quite a few bad reviews on the weathertech...
