Can this wheel/tire setup be done?

Thanks. Was not aware of this as an issue at all and in fact had never even heard these terms used, but it makes complete sense.

    My 05 just hit 253K!

Ironic. Sounds right - except for the Toyota frames that all rusted up and were repurchased.

    My 05 just hit 253K!

147k mostly trouble-free miles on my '03 SR5. 50k plus of those are mine in the last 5 years. Hoping it will last another 10 years and no indication that it won't. I did have the drivers side front caliper freeze up a couple years ago. Overheated and warped the rotor. Fixed all that and had...

Can this wheel/tire setup be done?

Hey guys, long time lurker and infrequent poster here. Currently running stock 16" wheels on my '03 SR5 with stock suspension. Hoping to upgrade to bigger wheels and A/T tires, I ran across a set of Goodyear SilentArmor 275/65-18 that I can pick up for a very good price. Found some...

WTB: Toyota/Scion Head Unit with Ipod Control and/or Sirius

I'd like to stick with the factory setup, but if that doesn't work out I'll let you know. Thanks. Bill

WTB: Toyota/Scion Head Unit with Ipod Control and/or Sirius

A recent job change has resulted in my '03 4Runner SR5 becoming my daily driver. I have one of the the Scion units in it, but since I rarely drove it I didn't get the one with the ipod port or controller. Now that I'm in the car far more often, I really need to have access to satellite radio...

VSC Off VSC TRAC & ABS lights

So then Bank 1 (Cylinder 1 side) Sensor 2 is the rear mounted sensor that is essentially under the passenger side front axle?

VSC Off VSC TRAC & ABS lights

I've got the same issue on my '03. Nobody local seems to have the Bank 1 Sensor 2 O2 sensor that my code calls for. Conicelli's system calls them front/rear and left/right. Which is which?

    Royal Purple?

Its very easy. You should change the transfer case and front diff while you're at it. The front is a bit tougher, but I did 2/3 of the job today and much of what I followed was found here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10117&highlight=75/90

    Now WTF do I do?

A buddy suggested I have a 1/2" nut welded onto the plug. Seems like a good idea since I'm going to pull it and replace the fluid and plug anyway. I don't think it could hurt anything.

    Now WTF do I do?

Re: Re: Now WTF do I do? Diff change doh! Noticeable improvement on the road test I just finished even though I just have two of them done. I would have changed it earlier, but I just got it April with 95k on the clock. It looked to me like the rear had been changed at least once and the...

    Now WTF do I do?

Now WTF do I do? Diff change doh! Doing front and rear diffs and transfer case fluid changes today. Rear had extra tight fittings, but otherwise no problem. Transfer case was a piece of cake. I decide to tackle the front last and after getting the rear skid plate off I found the offending...
