Do you think that just opening the scoop up and putting a screen on it will help cut down on engine temp or is the whole idea just not even worth doing? I know I am starting early on this since the new VVTi V-8 does not even come out until January...but I need something to make the time go by. :D

Hi I am planning on getting an 05 4runner sport V8. Has anyone done any mods to make the scoop actually work for a ram air? If not what is the best intake for hp gains. I will be giving up a suercharged Honda S2000 for the 4runner and am afraid I can not go cold turkey.
