Lol, yes and I just noticed in the picture I took of it that it was kind of crooked. It is not as big as it sounds.

I found a 14" black non-metal stubby antenna at Napa Auto Parts, fits right out of the box, includes correct attachment and only cost $6. I live in Birmingham, AL and I haven't yet noticed any loss of radio reception. Part Number is BK 7305900
