Well they claim that 5100s will blow quicker than the Boss shocks. I find that a little hard to believe. Plus the 5100s have a lifetime warranty through Bilstein so I'm not too worried about it.

Nice glad to hear your OMEs lasted for a couple years without any issue and no front sway. I'm def considering quick discos but I also really like how the truck rides with just the rear sway. My Toytecs were over the one year mark so they were no longer covered under their manufacturer...

How long have you been running your 5100s without a front sway and have you had any issues with the struts blowing? My Toytec Boss fronts blew in a year without a sway bar (and the 4Runner isn't my daily). Just trying to get an idea if the 5100s will last longer.

I picked up brand new top hats from the Toyota dealership since my original ones were in pretty terrible condition. They did come with rubber bushing already installed on the bottom so I figured I could leave out the bottom bushing that Bilstein tells you to use: Alright cool good to hear...

From my research, you don't really want to go with bolt ons if you're going to be doing some serious wheeling as the bolts that are used to attache the sliders to the frame rails are going to be stronger than the frame itself and can end up doing some damage. Never saw any proof of this but it...

Definitely let us know how the ride compares to your old setup! If I have bad luck with the Tundra 5100s, this is the front setup that I plan to go with once I have the funds.

I'm going from Toytec Boss coils to the 5100s because they didn't last that long.. I'd imagine the larger rod diameter of the Icons would allow them to take more of a beating / last longer than your average shock?

Rig's looking good! Never really thought about doing red lighting in the cargo area but that makes perfect sense for camping. Definitely going to look into a Lumitec led for the rear

I really like that swing arm. I'm not at all impressed with my CBI swing arm after seeing this. Looks great!
