too bad its not permanent...
anytime the battery is DC'd; this resets, and you get the (un)friendly reminder of just how irritating the chime is.
then the blissful refresher of switching it off again...Ahhhh, beautiful silence:).

jeez, my tire install place do a few extra things (had a gift cert to use up) & they dc'd the battery for some reason which resets the seat belt chime. that thing is torture once you've spent a couple years not being bludgeoned by it. this fix is a true gift to mankind.
ditto for my '08 v8 ltd 4wd
full k&n intake, new plugs, injector cleaner, oil/filter change, new front caliper, grease all fittings underneath, 265/65/18s & still consistent at 17.5mpg. Winter blend knocks that down ~1mpg.
