What year is the truck? Does the gasket still make contact? You might try carefully cleaning it and trying to revive some of its suppleness using some sort of rubber protectant (and I don't mean Armor All).

Well I talked with them about it and they pointed out that the sun roof isn't sitting flush (and it isn't). The gasket seems to be slowly coming loose at one side, so I would imagine it will end up leaking. I don't have much faith in that allegedly good factory at this point.

Have any other devices that can plug into those? Or some way to check that there is in fact no voltage? Just to eliminate the possibility it is a problem with the cell phone charger's plug and the 4R's particular sockets.
