That placement is ideal for a speaker in my opinion... I want my faceplate mounted a little more central, less "eyes off the road" but I definitely need to know how it's mounted up there. Speaker placement has been the one thing holding me back from installing a mobile setup. I've never seen one...

I had that done last winter... Canadian winters are not vehicle friendly. Shifting got worse the colder it got. :yuck: This starter interruption is a different thing.

I don't know what the actual technical term for this is, but there's evidently a switch/sensor of some sort in the gear selection mechanism that prevents the truck from starting if it doesn't "see" that it's in Park. Mine's been acting up. Sometimes the truck starts first try, no problem...
