That placement is ideal for a speaker in my opinion... I want my faceplate mounted a little more central, less "eyes off the road" but I definitely need to know how it's mounted up there. Speaker placement has been the one thing holding me back from installing a mobile setup. I've never seen one...
I had that done last winter... Canadian winters are not vehicle friendly. Shifting got worse the colder it got. :yuck:
This starter interruption is a different thing.
I don't know what the actual technical term for this is, but there's evidently a switch/sensor of some sort in the gear selection mechanism that prevents the truck from starting if it doesn't "see" that it's in Park.
Mine's been acting up.
Sometimes the truck starts first try, no problem...
Seems like I'm in this same boat with my 2016.
The rear window has always been slow in the winter, but over the past year or so it's been somewhat sluggish even in the summer. This morning though (-17ºC here) I accidentally hit the down button while driving and it wouldn't go back up. Tried...
Need a 5th wheel to mount a spare.
If you can pack up the wheel in a way to protect it during shipping I'll take care of the rest, arrange for the UPS pickup, etc.
Sorry for the delay in updating... got caught up with life getting in the way.

Short version: Son picked up a 96 Limited that needed some work. It's in the garage at the moment to have the gas tank repaired (the one "surprise" :censored:... top of the tank was in bad shape) but we're planning on doing most of the work ourselves when possible.
We've done some basic...
Is this kit no longer available with alternate Dually modules? I remember when I first saw this thread the brackets could be ordered with Rigids other than the DOT pair.
Yeah the softex really doesn't breathe. Anything over an hour and your back and butt will be unpleasantly damp when you get out of the truck. I got the truck in October when it was already cool outside and didn't notice this at all through the winter (obviously) but not that we're having warmer...
Picked up my new Falkens yesterday late afternoon so had to wake up early today to get to the garage to have them mounted. Drove home, had a quick snack, grabbed the son and the dog and headed up north...
Found trails!
Proper trails, finally. I've had the truck for 6 months and today was the...
