    2007 4Runner Limited V8 4WD Columbus OH

2007 Toyota 4Runner Limited These 4th gen 4Runners are arguably the most desirable, and this example has the most desirable features- V8, 4WD, heated leather seats, factory navigation (with updated DVD), JBL sound system with subwoofer and aux input, moonroof, X-reas suspension, side...

    V8 MPG Experiment

Not only is the computer MPG not accurate, it's not reliably off by the same amount- with "normal" driving mine is about 1.5 off actual, but on a long trip towing it was several MPG off actual. I haven't gone to the OP's extremes, but by driving a little slower and generally more smoothly I can...

    2007 4runner 4wd towing question

Well, on my trailer the wires were too short. Since he's buying an adaptor anyway why not the one with the coiled cord ? You can always zip tie any extra slack.

    TPMS Woes....

For about $60 I got an aftermarket TPMS with external sensors, so I never have to worry about the expensive stock crap again. And instead of an idiot light I get an actual psi reading for each wheel. It has the ability to add a sensor for a spare but I don't feel the need for it.

    Good/Bad Idea

Seems like a really bad idea. It's entirely possible that your 187K 4R is in better shape and will last longer than the 103K one. Being 4 years older on top of that...what's the point?

    should I buy this 2008 limited v8 with 151k?

I bought my '07 limited with 156K, no regrets. I'd try and get it for $12K if it's a private party. $13K from a dealer would be great. I don't see how a crusty undercarriage indicates how well the car was taken care of... only indicates to me that there was salt on the roads.

It's amazing how hard it is to find a low mileage 4Runner 4WD

+1 on the Lexus GX...if under 100K miles is important to you, there's lots more GX's out there that spend a lot more time garaged than driven. My biggest peeve with them is the stupid side opening rear door. That, and the price premium for that "L" badge on what is essentially a loaded T4R...

    Why 4Runners?

Guess I'm not the typical 4R buyer-I don't have any plans of off roading. I wanted to get rid of my van and car and replace them with one vehicle that could tow my race trailer and also be a decent daily driver. Had no interest in anything non-Japanese, so my choices were few. Drove several V6...
