Well it's definitely love at first sight. I will be waiting in line for this 100% as I must have this. I did like K & N filters before but I will be getting the TRD.
Hopefully, a supercharger and exhaust will not be too far behind.
Just checked and I found on their website all options seemed to be covered now...even T4Rs with 3rd row seating - going to be ordering mines very soon!
I am picking up my new 2011 4Runner tommorow and I would have loved to have the Trail Edition back with the sliding gear tray but it was not offered as an option for me...I have the 3rd row seating - I too have a big dog and could have used the extra space....keep us informed on the swap!
Limited's are AWD with x-REAS systems
SR5 you have options.
Well at least in Canada - the only drive train was AWD - I didn't think there was any other...but I got what I wanted anyways...
Yep totally normal...it's prolly time for you to change oil anyways...that's what I would do. If not...learn to turn it off as I find it very annoying.
Really nice picture!
Just wanted to say that I love the picture of your T4R in the dunes.
Very cool. I am picking mines up on December 15th - finally got word from the dealership. Counting the days.....
My .02cents....
Ok. Let me try to understand what you are debating. I need to know that price is not the deciding factor for you. You can afford BOTH the Tahoe and the 4Runner with your options? Yes? Ok.
If that is the case really you aren't really comparing the same thing.
One you love...
:wow:
Really?
I think that your not just talking about your 4Runner right?
Best to turn on the car, get in and get going - be gentle until it gets warm...it is prolly a lot better than keeping it parked and running. Not good to idle that long and not good for the environment.
:bluejump:
It is deleted from the LIMITED in favour of the REAR-VIEW CAMERA.
In the quote provided by Toyota Canada it shows all options available for SR5, Trail Edition, Limited and Limited with NAVI.
In the case of the Limited with NAVI the deleted option is replaced with the "HIGHER END" option of Rear...

Response to 5th GEN Trail ED with KDSS and NAV
From what I can findout - most if not all Trail Editions do NOT come with the NAV preinstalled. It's is an option that I believe that you can order.
Up in Toronto Canada - the general finding is that most 5th Gens that you see at dealerships are...
Thanks very much for sharing the awesome experience!
Hello and Thank you!
Those shots and the narrative that went along with the entry are greatly appreciated. The photos of the landscape and your travels were very well done. I really think the 5th Gen is a very capable vehicle and if it is...
My 2cents
I believe that there is a certain segment of women who prefer the bigger types of cars. It makes them feel safe. They see the road better. Hopefully, in the hopes of driving safety.
I think the 5th Gen would appeal more to guys as its really on the outer edge of 'manly" with its...
My issue with the TPS
I don't know if you have had any service done on the tires recently but I had an issue with a tire pressure sensor - it got all corroded so it failed.
The pressures where complete good - went to check it and found that they sensor was the issue. Expensive fix...oh well.
