Uh. I can't say I have run into that. They must be using thin wall tubing or it might be a single tube tongue with just outer supports, not a true aframe or triangulated tongue... I know ATC and Mission trailers you can so maybe worth looking into one of those at the nearest dealer to you...

What trailers are you looking at? I own dealership in Oregon and you can for sure run a weight distribution kit on a aluminum trailer. You just have to use the kind that clamp around the frame with integrated sway. With aluminum your are going to be able tow more due to the curb weight of the...

I agree you are not going feel the diff in weight that much on a street vehicle. In a racing environment you will for sure experience a diff when going after every tenth of second by reducing unpsrung weight. However, I do feel in the long run there will be less wear and tear on the vehicles...

Welcome to the pacific nw. I am new to the forum as I have just got a 14' trail.. Anyhow, you should check out gitout.com Its a regional forum with lots of local info on trails and trips. Plus, there is usually a trail run most weekends. It's a good mix of vehicles.

I just got a silver 14 trail premium and love it but just not a big fan of the front end. There were a bunch of reasons why I got 14 over 13. It's a lot of silver so I am thinking painting the fake skid plate black might help the looks plus adding a hidden winch in the front grill might help...

Is it possible to do this? Probably more expensive then a aftermarket bumper but just curious as there are no bumpers yet for it.

I just got a silver trail premium this past week. Has anyone painted the stock 14 trail wheels in black or anthracite. I saw there was a photoshop of some on a red one early in this thread but hard to get a good feel.
