I i started in my post i have tried that and even taken it to the dealer and had it greased! As i posted in another thread. Do most of you get that same clunk if you sit in the car with it in drive holding the brakes and get a friend to jump on the back bumper!?

Try this, i put the truck in drive and got someone to jump on the back bumper while i held the brake pedal. Try this see if your truck does it? I still get the thump

I replaced the most rear u joint and no luck also greased the fitting and clunk is still there? any ideas?
