StrongArm 4286 Gas Charged Lift Supports review

My solution was that the strut you buy from Olathe comes with the bracket and the pins all as one unit, so I bought those instead of scouring a junkyard or buying a pipe cutter and making some of the materials myself. Easier, faster, less of a hassle.

StrongArm 4286 Gas Charged Lift Supports review

Missing pins and clips -- where to buy? I just tried removing my old struts, which were replacements that a previous owner had. To my chagrin, they had used a bolt on the top as the struts they had put in were threaded. On the bottom was a pin system thing with an arm that had a round clip...

Just bought this 2002 Limited and am pretty stoked on it

Full list of upgrades and repairs so far Ok, so I've had the rig for a little while now and I'm pretty happy with it. Owning an SUV again feels like home. However, it needed some work to start with. I had to replace a leaky power steering return line, and the radiator was looking worse for wear...

Suspension upgrade to get the smoothest ride?

Final verdict after all-new suspension upgrades Ok all, I finally got the truck back from the shop and oh man, was this worth every penny. Where before I was literally bracing myself on the steering wheel against any tiny little bump in the road, now I just sort of glide over it like... a...

2002 4runner won't enter programming mode for key FOB

Slow locks, nothing works to program remote I've been searching around the forum for solutions to this and still nothing's worked. I'm experiencing the slow lock issue where after around three locks on the second cycle they just stop fully cycling. I saw some suggestions here that the answer...

    Lumbar seat motor repair DIY.....

LittleCaesar Thank you for this write up some years later. Wondering if you can recall, can you get to the motor without removing the entire seat? All I really want to do is adjust the damn thing to middle. It died (or jammed) with it in full support, which is killing my back. I have to take the...

Should I seat swap or get my front seats re-built?

OK I got my foam in yesterday and am wanting to throw it in before I go on a roadtrip this weekend. How did you get started with taking the seat apart? I don't want to go just unscrewing things. Was there a guide on here that got you started?

    FS: 2010 - 2013 OEM 17” Toyota 4Runner Wheels (5th Gen) $200 Portland, Ore.

Came on my rig when I bought them but I swapped them out for the 2017s. They look pretty good, no cracks or anything. Willing to ship them to you if you need a set.

Suspension upgrade to get the smoothest ride?

Ok interesting! I'm looking at Rock Auto and they weirdly have the same models but also are suggesting one digit off. So they carry both ACDELCO 450H369 and the ACDELCO 450H368 but it is not clear what the real difference is between these springs. Any ideas?

Suspension upgrade to get the smoothest ride?

What coil springs did you go with? OEM? They're expensive as hell. Looking at Rock Auto and thinking about these AC Delco ones but wondering if I'm being a cheap bastard. The sedan ride is what I want. MAST4R and RotaryDreamz I'd be curious about your input on this too.
