My '92 is having similar problems. Air intake hose was split all the way around right next to the clamp, I just taped the shmack out of it and re-clamped. Also installed new fuel filter, spark plugs, cap and rotor. It runs a bit better after getting warmed up, but still sounds like little rocks...

Hey everybody, I'm stoked to find this site. I've had my '92 4Runner for almost 5 years, and it has been a real workhorse for me. Lots of fun times in rain, snow, mud and ice. It's been a long road, I've put nearly 100,000 miles on it since I bought it from a good friend (it's now at 267 K)...
