water leakage ??
Isnt there a rubber grommet in the firewall for wires to enter the cab. Some people find there is a hole in it and when it rains it will leak.- Raintrees

Metal clanking sound on start up.
well i went to autozone to see what it was as i thought maybe it was my flex plate, once we has it in there i seen it so yea just look at the nose of the starter and u can see if that bearing is messed up.- Raintrees

i had this happen to me not to long ago, the front bearing in the starter exploded! It would work fine but on start up made a really bad noise( not all the time).- Raintrees
