This is a great thread for us newbie knuckle heads. I appreciate the little...big...tips for making this more simple. I have a couple of these to tackle eventually.
My Springs
Hey Folks, don't let the one post scare you. Swenburhooden is my brother helping me sell my springs while I am deployed overseas.
I was originally building an overland truck and wanted stiffer springs for all the extra weight. However, I am enjoying just prerunning the truck so I...
Mike, for as much ass pain as the Colorado trip provided, it looks like it provided equally great photos and experience. Thanks for the inspiration...as always!!
If you don't have the "Roadmaster Quiet Hitch for 2" Trailer Hitches" I would get one. Best $23 I have spent. CBI recommended it to me when I purchased my carrier.

Well damn Chad...thanks for starting a build thread. You are doing it right and can now inspire others looking at doing something similar. I am constantly amazed at my mid-travel setup and am excited to hear about your first time tearing it up with the long-travel setup. Kudos brother!! - Rick
I have King 2.0 front and rear. Originally I had Radflo for rear springs but they were way to stiff. I replaced them with the Superflexes last week and they match my King fronts great (ride wise). I went with the Superflexes based on a recommendation from a guy at Total Chaos Fabrication who...
Is that you in the picture? Nice jump!!

It sounds like the "Toyota Lean" which is really common and not to be worried about. The gas tank sits on the drivers side of the truck. I would measure with below a quarter tank and see if it changes.
Here is link to a thread discussing the subject...
Just to bump the thread I will add some of my input. I purchased the reservoir in the link you provided and it just seemed too flimsy for my liking. I looked into plastic welders to create a custom one and it was going to cost more than I was willing to spend.....for the amount of rain here in...
Thank you! The suspension held up flawlessly. I did crack the driver side inner fender liner and loosened up the skid plate. I think I should have tightened up the compression a bit before the jumps. I have since removed the liner and tightened up the skid plate.
I moved out of Coronado over to Alpine here in California to be closer to the mountains and desert. It's only been two weeks but I've found some nice truck trails to enjoy the rig on. I do need to do some more fender and fender well trimming. I am tearing up the seem welds on the rear side of...
