It wasn't standard on the 2010 SR5, but it became standard on the 2011 SR5.

I like those wheels a lot. I've looked for a set of those but haven't really found anything. I've always wondered what they would look like on a 5th gen, so thanks for posting.

I enjoyed reading your post...good luck over there at the tundra forum. I did think of something after reading this post, however. I always read about the 5th gen not having enough "oomph" etc. etc. compared to the V8 in the 4th gen (or any V8 for that matter), which is understandable. But...

This sounds like the problem that the Prius faced right after the whole gas pedal fiasco. I don't remember too much about it except that the brakes could go out after hitting a bump or pot hole. It was recalled for the Prius, so maybe this is something similar. Definitely needs to be checked...

I remember reading other posts that say these tires improve the ride quality, do you notice that as well, ie doesn't bounce around as much as on the stock tires?

I was in a parking garage earlier tonight and saw a 4runner with "4WD" badging on the back liftgate. I didn't have my phone so I couldn't snap a photo, but it looked odd and crooked. It was about at the bottom level of the license plate on the right side of the liftgate. I don't think Toyota...

Not that this really applies to the 2012 model, but I did happen to notice that the "windshield wiper de-icer" is standard on the 2011 model (it wasn't even an option on the 2010 SR5).

I'm so p'd off too. I didn't know my SR5 didn't have a V8 in it until after I bought it...:dammit: On a more serious note...you know what happens when you assume, right? You make an ass out of u and me.

I apply Rain X to the rear window and it works well.
