This guy fixed mine like a champ. $16 and it works perfectly. Simply pull it out and buy this off ebay and ship it to him. He ships it back fixed perfectly packages and a 5 year warranty.

Here is a video on a normal 5 post automotive relay that helped me at least understand how they work. Also I would put an inline fuse before the relay if there is not one already.

Because if you replace the axel seals the way you can check and see if your inner seal is leaking is to pull the ABS sensor and check for gear oil. There shouldn't be any in there. If it is dry your good. Some shops have a 1 year guarantee on a diff rebuild. So it may not leak on the outer seal...
I am going to send my 1998 4Runner clock off to an ebay site that repairs them basically in the manner described above for $16.

Update, Well went to UPS...
I am going to be installing a brake controller on my 98 and I found these videos on YouTube for a 99. Maybe they will be of use to others. I haven't done it yet so not sure if this is the best method as he runs the wire thru the frame. I think there is parts 1-3.
