UPDATE I ran my vehicle down to where it had 20 miles left on the range indicator (so that should be a gallon or so until "empty"). I obviously know that it is going to be more than a gallon left because of the reserve but when I filled up, I ONLY GOT 19.5 GALLONS TO FULL. :rofl: I cannot...

I can say i've never thought about it from that perspective. I've been into cars all my life and it's always been a "to protect the fuel pump" thing for me. :thumb:

THIS is what I'm talking about, basically... I didn't start this thread looking for info on how low I can run my tank lol. I just found it odd that my indicator was very low (just before the light would come on) and I would only get 18gal out of a "fill up".

I feel beyond silly asking this BUT I'm having conflicting reports and real life experience. I bought my 4R this past Saturday and I need clarity lol. Everywhere I read (searching Internet, looking at the owners manual, and even on here), I see that the gas tank capacity is 23gallons. Ok cool...
