Did you try holding in the power knob to shut it down? My PT546-00160 has done that and it was still connected to the phone, and even pulling the power was not enough to reset it.
Thanks for letting me know that they work for you. You are correct that its either the HU or the wiring. I have tried another HU with the same disappointing result so I ordered another PT546-00120-CH Wire Harness. Thanks for your help.
Do the buttons illuminate? I have the same setup as you do but the buttons on the PT546-00160 do not light up. I had the older 2014 PT546-00140 installed and they do light up. I would like to find a fix for this!
