After one year my driver side only fires about 50% of the time. I do not have the relays installed. I did pop a fuse on the same side when I was in below freezing temperature.

If you have that many miles without ever changing the fluid, you may want to research a drain and fill versus a full flush.

I don't think I have seen 240 at the pan. I have seen 250 at the torque converter a few times. I am at 59k miles and need to do a flush.

I towed a car a couple of weeks ago and saw ~225F in pan and ~250F at torque converter on the same grade. I have done this several times and never had the transmission light turn on. S3 and S4.

Just curious, has anyone ever experienced a push button start failure? I have certainly experienced failures with a traditional key system. By the way, if you ever have a runaway car, you can just hold the push button to kill the engine.

Perhaps you overheated because the slow speed and off road terrain did not allow your torque converter to lock up. When the transmission is not 'locked up' or in 'flex lockup' mode it generates a lot more heat, I have seen this pulling a trailer up grades. Look at the graphic in this post...
