Finally got around to snapping a pic of the croassbar. You can see it is a two piece mount. THe bottom could be made out of a piece of angle steel, and the top is clearly proprietary, but I bet you could use any generic roof bar system that attaches to a drip rail.

I don't have any experience with the crossbars you are asking about, but I use a safari rack basket (aluminum) on my Can-Back using some stainless U-bolts to secure it to the Can-Back bars. I'm going to make a bigger rack at some point and probably just use U-bolts again because they are simple...

Yes it's in a 1st gen, but would work in a 2nd, behind the rear seat. Search sunken trunk 4runner, I just stole the idea. Moved the batteries for more room under the hood, and moving some weight to the rear of the rig. Two batteries, one to start and the other runs everything else. The trunk...

Added a trunk for items that do not need access regularly... dual batteries and compressor hooked up. compressor is activatedby a ground switch in the dash. air hose (blue) to the rear red jumper cable quick disconnect location

Returned radiator so, sold.

I don't know if the mounting holes are the same for a 3rd Gen runner as they are for a 1st/2nd gen. It's a v6 radiator, you'd have to do so.e research to see if it fits.

Test pipe is to replace the CAT for "test". You could see a difference on the but dyno, but won't make a huge difference. Not sure if I understand your issue.
