Can you change W59 output shaft seal without taking it apart? I searched hi and low but couldnt find a decent answer... My w59 (2wd, 3-RZ) is leaking like a faucet out of the rear of the transmission. Can you change the output shaft seal with the trans in the car or pulled out of the car but...

Thank you! I got quoted about 4k to rebuild the transmission and install new clutch kit and flywheel. It won't gain that much value but if I drive it for a few more years it may be worth it.

Hi All, Im trying to decide how deep to go money wise into my 4runner as I am at a turning point with having to decided to replace the transmission. I dont want to loose my shirt on this build completely so im trying to gauge how much this is worth if I were to sell it before I dump more money...

Thanks dude, after some basic refresh stuff and figuring the drivetrain wobbles out its going to get some fun mods hipefully. Im happy to get back to working on a project after several years. It has a 2” strut spacer lift but i want to change that to a coil lift and look at wheels/tire combos...
