After taking it down the highway to get home the noise got louder and I found the leak. It is in the top of one of the welds. hopefully they can reweld it with it installed on the car
The problem with that procedure is the only way to cause it is by putting the car in drive. I had it in neutral and slowly ran it up to 4k rpm with no noise, but jump in it and drive it down the road the noise is clear as day around 2000 and above.
Still Leaking
So, I purchased these headers, and went thru with installing them. The exhaust leak is much quieter, but is still there. Weirdly enough it is only present when accelerating in drive, and does not happen in neutral. Any suggestions?
