I'm in the same boat....I'll make the assumption that you're a 3VZE, and the A340F auto. Further, I'll also assume that you have A/C (not sure I've seen a V6 2nd Gen without). What makes this tough for placement of a trans cooler? The A/C condenser in front of the rad eats some space, but not...

I just went through this pain myself. In the 2nd Gens, this is not quite so easy....a rebuild of the front hub is worth while doing at the same time since you have to tear it apart anyways. New inner/outer bearings, seals, and associated hardware would be my recommendation. An axle seal...

Pads are great....but wait till ya do the rotors. :(

Timing belt/chain...last time it was changed. Not sure which year, without some google work, that the chain was replaced by belt...more than likely a belt.
