Most of the cars I've owned only have the recirc button go for 8-10 minutes. Then it clicks itself off. Pretty normal behavior I think. Why do you want it on all the time?

Toyota doesn't give them the truck to test. CR buys all of its cars as anonymous buyers at normal dealers. That way they can acquire a car that is exactly like what the consumer would receive. Or so they say. This fact, to me, makes they're lack of discussing that there are other model trims...

Let's not forget You can have the best 4wd system and brakes in the world, but without a good set of tires, might as well have the world's best pedal drive system. Yes, 4wd will help better distribute the engine power, but if you dont have any friction with the ground.... Good luck living up...

I refer you to simonj's response. Has nothing to do with fan boys. Has to do with engineering of the exhaust system and good fuel.
