    FS: 3rd GEN 4Runner,'00 SR5 blk, $9900 Cumming, GA

I have decided to sell my incredibly capable 2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I have put countless hours and dollars into this build, but I have taken it as far as I can without a straight-axle swap. So, I ended up buying a new rig to build up and am finding myself not using this truck any longer. The...

    Off roading in Alabama/Georgia

Pretty sure GAP is closed. Never went, but website isn't live anymore and I recall a "Going out of business" ride last year. Your best bet for real trails is to head up to ChoccoLocco Mtn (Jacksonville, AL) or Morris Mtn (Delta, AL). I ride with GA Trail Riders and we have a monthly ride...we...

Help me diagnose pulling to rt after brake job

Recently changed my front brake pads, as the old pads were totally done. The rotors "looked" OK, without grooves and were still thick enough. So, I didn't replace or resurface the rotors. I "bedded" them (Wagner Thermoquiet pads) in, or so I thought I did. Seemed like I got good heat and...

    Urban assault's '99 4runner build

Congrats on the win, Steve! Well deserved, indeed! Had a blast at Windrock with you and the other GaTR guys. Still finding damage here and there. Bent the hell out of my passenger side slider. Our trucks are heavy, it seems.

XK Glow LED Rock Lights Install on 3rd Gen

I have had to replace a couple of pods. The whole pod didn't go out, but 1/2 of it (3 of the 6 lights), so I guess there are 2 "channels" in each pod. But, I wheel pretty hard. I will look for some pics at night...I think I did a video. I can take a few more pix now that I added a few more...

Power Steering rack replacement.... info needed!

I just recently did this and got this AAE steering rack. Rockauto has it for a pretty good price, less than $200 after core return. More Information for AAE 3273 Good luck!

    Georgia (SE) area Meetup!

I'm in! I think URBAN ASSAULT and myself are going to roll up there together Saturday morning. Doesn't sound like we will be there as early as some of you guys, though. I will be with my two boys, 11 & 12. So, is the "official" start time still 10:00? And roll out about 11:30? See you...

    Just sayin hey

Welcome! Some guys are getting together this weekend in your neck of the woods, if you're interested in meeting up and seeing what we spend all our disposable income on. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/general-discussions/162264-georgia-se-area-meetup.html

Front diff by CV axle leaking

Yay! No leaks! Thanks for the assistance! I guess it helps if you get all of the old part out before you try & install a new one.

Just to sure, you are saying this side out?

Front diff by CV axle leaking

Are you sure?? Doesn't seem the other side is made to drive against (to seat).

Front diff by CV axle leaking

Yeah, that was it! There was still the metal ring from the old seal in there. Pics included. So, now, just to be sure...which way does this new seal go in? I would assume this way (this side facing out)... since there are little baffles on this side, which I assume are there to keep...
