Yea..that's a weird archaic "bible belt" law that hopefully gets repealed soon...sounds like it might. Fortunately, Ohio is a short drive for me in a worst case scenario! lol

In Indiana, this year I paid $86.35, which includes $15.00 Military special plate fee...for a 2002 Sport Edition. This is about the same as I paid last year too. In Indiana, taxes can be different for each county, which can account for some differences across the state.

I have found most plugs come pre-gapped, but you should be prudent and check them before you go to the trouble and put them in, just to be sure. As for anti-seize and grease, I always put both on. Its definitely not required, but the anti-seize will make changing them in the future easier.

This is an old thread, but figured I would post what worked for me. Mine had the original FIPG from the factory. I took the bolts out and used a rubber mallet. Wouldn't budge. I did not want to pry at all on anything, so I took some brake cleaner and soaked the orange gasket all the way...

I have heard of throttle body spacers causing a whistle...not sure that's the case here. Does it do it standing still when you rev? If you pop the hood and listen while someone rev's, can you hear it? Or only while you are driving?
