This is a great point. I was looking for a vehicle over 6000 GVWR and was hard pressed to find anything close to what the TRD Pro offers for under $50k. Not to mention the reliability/resale value over its competition.

Hey Guys, Just a quick tip that helped me save roughly $2k off MSRP of a new TRD PRO. Most dealers I contacted wanted MSRP for the truck, but I filled out a Truecar.com form and found a dealer willing to give me the Truecar certificate price. This was around $2k off. Might vary for each...

I am also debating the PRO vs SR5 and weighting the pros and cons. Would be great to hear about the MPG and ride quality on pavement difference between the various models . I assume it will be pretty much the same though.
